Early birthday

Not my birthday - yet. But had a mini-celebration with some mates a coupla days ago. Hmm I think they meant for this to replace last year's erm..lack of one..thanks guys!

It was a dark and stormy night... (okay-le, it wasn't that stormy. Was one of Melbourne's rainy nights), put a coupla mates together, plus good food and some niceee wine (only for me and K.L. only though cos the rest don't really drink..).. what you get is this:


Bah Kut Teh (chockful of stuff - spare ribs/shiitake/tau-pok/garlic etc)



How can we not have yau-char-kue with bah kut teh =)

This has to go on record as the longest time taken ever to prepare a cake (by the time they finished with the positioning of the candles and take the required shots, the cake was half melting 'dy hahh)
